The Bead Hold Ltd opened in August 2004 in Point Chevalier, Auckland. The shop was the result of many years of planning, dreaming and scheming by Queen Bead and the Queen Mother. A second shop was opened in Botany South in 2005. Now remote customers or true bead-a-holics who need to shop at midnight can also beneft from our Online Shop that has recently opened.
The Bead Hold is an absolute treasure trove and caters for all ages, tastes and budgets. Our stores are crammed full of wonderful beads and findings from all around the world. A full range of beading tools, books and accessories are stocked and our wonderful supply of vintage buttons and art beads are sought after. Customers delight in the ambience and total creative experience. Friendly, well trained staff are always on hand to assist you.
We run a wide variety of adult classes every week for both beginners and more experienced beaders. We also cater to children of all ages with tailored birthday parties, classes and school holiday programmes. The Bead Hold is renowned for its quality tuition by well trained instructors. We have a strong focus on the quality of crafting, finishing and design techniques. Come along and learn new techniques, consolidate your existing knowledge and make new friends. We also have space in our air-conditioned parlours for you to sit and create using our tools.
